Armchair for Future.

The first public school founded by Montalban Rizal, San Jose Litex Senior High School, has been operating for six years and will have roughly 4,000 students enrolled by 2022. There are 412 classrooms spread across three buildings that make up San Jose Litex.

The scope of our project is to be able to have more chairs in our school, San Jose Litex Senior High School. The reason why we create this project is that San Jose Litex Senior High School we know that it is just a small school, yet many students chose to enroll there. Due to many students, the capacity of chairs is lacking, and most of the chairs are broken and can no longer be used. There are some instances that there are chairs that don’t have an armchair, and it’s almost impossible to sit on them because of their damage. The beneficiary of this project is the students at San Jose Litex Senior High School, this will help them to have a proper and comfortable place to sit.

We will be requiring a week to develop this project and we will start our promotion right after we have uploaded the website.

Our group, Group 3, In San Jose Litex, we all know that it’s a small school, and in that case, many students are struggling and enduring chairs that have no armrests and chairs that shake. For me, it’s so hard to focus during a discussion, especially if the students have to take notes. They will be distracted because of it. In this project, we need to take action. Me and my group mates want to start in a small group, and we will encourage the others to help us resemble the chairs again, voluntarily, and we will spread this through our social media accounts or pages.

We will be creating an infographic and other related information connected to the lack of chairs at San Jose Litex.

Our group aims to create a Facebook group or Page, and a Blog. To help achieve our goal.

In order to increase the number of people who support our project, we will use social media to further spread our project in this way, it is possible to take this step and begin to have what we want to happen and replace the missing or broken chairs. Many students will be relieved because they will be able to write properly and many more positive things will be brought about by our starting project.
Behind the Broken seat project, DepEd can support and help us make this project happen. The purpose of this project is not only to have a decent chair but this will be very beneficial for the students as they will finally have chairs that is more useful and comfortable to sit on, they can also write better or accomplished their written tasks properly. Students also need comfort while studying so that they can perform and participate in class better. One of the possible major contributors or possible help we can depend on is the local area Mayor as we can lift a request regarding this matter of broken chairs. Aside from them, we can also reach for help through Social Media platforms, by posting or sharing our request and asking for help regarding to our issue, once our published post reached the people, we can have netizens help us and even sponsor us, in this case, it will make our project faster and possible to achieve.

The Story Behind MAPA by SB19

MAPA

“Mapa” (lit. transl. map, a portmanteau of mama and papa; stylized in all uppercase) is a song recorded by Filipino boy band SB19, released on May 16, 2021, by Sony Music, as the second pre-release digital single off their extended play Pagsibol. The song was written by the band’s leader Pablo, who also co-produced the song, together with Jay Durias of South Border and by Simon Servida, who also serves as the personnel behind the band’s previous single “What?”. The song was released between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day as a tribute to all parents. It has placed fifth on Google’s most searched songs globally in 2021.

Probably one of the most compelling tribute songs to parents, ever recorded, SB19’s MAPA, is as powerfully sung, as it is meaningfully written. A perfect homage for parents, MAPA is a poetic testimonial to how mothers and fathers set aside themselves, so they can prioritize their children, first. It also talks about how a child gives back the favor, to their parents, who does everything to provide for their kids.”Kaya ‘wag mag-alala, ipikit ang ‘yong mata, ta’na .Pahinga muna, ako na’ng bahala. Labis pa sa labis ang ‘yong nagawa,” shares one of the lines of the song, which perfectly illustrates one’s commitment to giving back to their parents. A newly-released version of the song, which features the idol group’s collaboration with folk, pop band, Ben&Ben, gave it a refreshing spin without losing its original power.
